Yes-No Experiment

Yes No shtick colorYesterday, I posted a simple saying on the Face Book

From my personal “school of hard knocks” file: If you are not interested in something, be clear! Say: “No” and keep quiet. Say what you mean and mean what you say!

Response was excellent.

It is obvious that EVERYONE has had communication challenges, thinking “No”, but saying “Yes” and vice versa.

Why do we do that? Why do we say what we do not mean? Why don’t we mean what we say?

There are several answers to that question, depending on the circumstances and people we are dealing with, depends on the level of risk and on our beliefs.

  1. We want to be accepted and liked. We prefer saying “sweet words”, words we think people want to hear. Those “sweet” words are NOT Delicious. They ultimately leave us with the bitter taste of regret, guilt and disempowerment.
  2. We don’t want to rock the boat – we are afraid if we speak up it will backfire on us (and it sometimes does), so we opt for remaining a victim of our own communication habits.
  3. We don’t want to “hurt” other people. This one almost always ends up in hurt anyway, and we are the person that gets hurt. Even if the incident is minor (such as mentioning to someone that their breath is not fresh).

Delicious Solution:

Be honest with yourself – Feel your personal “Delicious Yes”.

In order to do that STOP doing what you are doing, ( in conversation – Stop your need to answer the questions that are presented in front of you) and TAKE A BREATH. Just breathe and feel your “Delicious Yes”.

How does it feel energetically in your body? Soft, warm, bright, open? Is it moving you forward? Does it leave a little smile on our lips? Gentle feeling of security? Shoulders relaxed? Feel that feeling and breathe it into every cell of your body. Feel it. Own it.

Delicious Story – EFT Transformation

Here, in Honolulu, Hawaii, I just had an EFT Tapping session with a client who was (in her words) a “First time sex baby” and that was troublesome to her for over 40 years.

This article describes how beautifully she shifted. Not only from the place of distress to neutral peace, but to the place of complete joy. You will love the interesting twist, and I believe that you can learn how to open up and find what I call “Delicious Perspective”.

“Brigitte” was quite sad and lonely as she remembered

the way she was conceived. Her mom was a very young when she got pregnant with her. In fact, she was “a first time sex baby”. All the other siblings were planned and the family prepared for them, but Brigitte felt unwanted as she felt like an “accident” child.

I knew that this kind of painful thinking would only cause her distress, and I became exceptionally aware of every word she used, in order to help her shift the energy.

We tapped on several “negative” rounds, addressing the story, releasing the “first time sex” words, which were quite disturbing to her. We tapped on comparing herself with her “planned” siblings and on being lonely.

Emotions were shifting and she was slowly feeling more comfortable. Yet, the “first time sex baby” still had a significant impact. Then I used one of my “Delicious” ways to twist with fun:

- Even though I was a first time sex baby, it’s ok, because I know for sure that was the only time my parents really wanted each other

- Even though I was a first time sex baby, I accept that, because I was a love baby

- Even though I was unplanned, I was a passion baby! They had fun creating me, they were crazy in love, full with passion and it shows on me!

Her eyes sparkled! She was in the state of Awe.

With a smile on her face Brigitte said: “Oh, that’s why I am so passionate, spontaneous and wild…. My siblings plan everything and they are boring, I was always different, I always loved deeper”first time sex baby

She was so happy to discover the truth about herself and she wrote me a letter.

“Thank you Helena for the amazing transformation that you accomplished with your insight into the shifts I was going through. You took me from seeing myself as unwanted & ignored child to knowing with bold certainly down to my toes that I was a love, not a “first time sex” baby, and ultimately a passion baby. Seeing that, experiencing how that passion had molded my entire life – surprisingly for the positive. I am ready to live my life more fully from now.

Thank you for this special transforming gift.”

I love how Brigitte shifted! Do you too?

When you do your tapping, your EFT, be bold and excited to experiment with different words and open up your mind to all possibilities! That is what I love the best, serving with a spark of astonish, a humor and light. If you live in Honolulu Hawaii, we can do EFT from my office. And if you are somewhere else, just call for a consult and lets twist some painful memory of yours to find peace, Love and Passion!
Life is full of surprises, Liv Delicious!

Delicious Happening

Slovenija EFT Seminar - Till & Sabina embraced by two Helenas

I just came from Europe 5 weeks ago. I was visiting my family in Croatia and went to Slovenia as well. One of Slovenia’s topmost Psychotherapists Sabina Silc has organized a 4 days EFT/MTT Tapping training seminar and invited Till Schilling, (Tappy Bear daddy) and I to teach. We covered fundamentals and, addressed limiting beliefs & financial stuckness. We did step by step healing of the traumatic experiences from the childhood and connecting with the lovely inner child.
Response from the participants was quite interesting. From tears to laughter, from anger and pain to peace and smiles, we had it all. Due to the quite large size of the audience, I was nicely surprised that everyone connected so well, warmly and supportively.

Slovenija EFT Semina-EFT HawaiiSince some of the participants attended last year as well, I wanted to share the ways to keep the process of healing alive even after the seminar.
What keeps the healing alive? Is it the number of tapping rounds, the words we use, reading the books or setting up the regular tapping time? Maybe a combination of all?

Or maybe a loving connection?

From the end of the seminar, till today, I stayed in close personal communication with some of the participants and witness their progress. Some had progress that was important and they felt “done” for now, some were working on new aspects, and some started sharing their knowledge with family members.
Every single person, however, cherished the personal connection with me. They felt heard, understood and loved. Slovenija EFT Semina

K.P. said: “When I tap, I hear your voice and I feel that you are by my side”

D.T. shared: “As long as I know that we can connect on skype, I know that I cannot do any EFT mistakes, and if I do, you will help me out”

T.B. commented: “Ever since last year, I keep this photo of us together and when the time is hard, I look at the picture and get some strength. Why is that?”

Gary Craig (the founder of EFT) says: “Everything boils down to lack of love” and yes, it is true. Especially in the healing process. Some people prefer solitude, yet most are very comfortable in knowing that someone cares for them deeply and that they are not alone.

Next time, when you are going on a seminar, make sure you find a support partner or two or even better, go to a seminar with a buddy (or a whole family!) Keep the work alive and remember that tapping is like brushing your emotional teeth – for a bright smile you got to do it regularly.

And if you have a little child that could use a tapping friend, I know of a really cute one. Tappy Bear, huggable, tappable and sweet. Till has made a Tappy into a movie star! Get the DVD!

P.S. For the 2010 seminar in Slovenia Sabina has invited me and my good friend Rick Wilks.
